End Well NaI(Tl) Scintillator

End well NaI(Tl) scintillator has a cylindrical well which is set concentrically in the NaI(Tl) crystal.
This assembly is housed in aluminium cases. For measurements, specimen is entered to well part and light output can be obtained from the optical window mounted at the another end. End well NaI(Tl) scintillators are the most efficient (typically greater than 78%), because the scintillator surrounds the specimen, it is very ideal for radioimmunoassay applications.
